Alpha Kappa Tau -- Munford's brightest team!

We won our 1st event of the competition year at Covington and our last event at Ole Miss!
Best year ever!! 
The new year starts on 16 February.
 

Life has fair times and not-so-fair times, but mostly there are good times -- these we should remember.

Normal Practice Schedule 

Monday afternoons: 2:30 -- 4:00. Buzzer practice for Junior Varsity
Wednesday afternoons: 2:30 -- 4:00. Buzzer practice for Varsity 6.
Everyone: Wednesday mornings 7:00 -- 7:30 for topic training.
Everyone: Friday mornings 7:00 -- 7:30 for Great Auk practice.
 

Our Known Schedule

Here's what I know so far.  Other events may come up. 

September 22:  Ezell-Harding,  Varsity record was 2/3.  Competition was beyond tough!  Varsity played well.
October 20:  MUS, Great Day!  We came in 5th.  The "A" team left 29 teams in their dust.
November 10:  Ole Miss Brain brawl, two teams.  First Place Regional Champs!
November 12:  Channel 3 Knowledge Bowl, Varsity 6  Good match, but 20 points short.  Finally won current events.
December 5: Third in West Tennessee.  Tenth in State.
January 12: Cordova Iditarod, three teams. We came in 5th
February 2: University of Mississippi (Brain Brawl) -- First Place again!
March 28-29:  TACA State competition, A-team only (6 players)
April 5: Host Middle School, everyone
April 19: Host AKT, everyone plus as many parents as possible.
April 23: Great AUK competition, everyone
May 8:  Annual Banquet, everyone plus parents
